If you need to set a gap (eg points [what are they the younger half of the forum are thinking ] and you couldn't lay your hands on a set of feeler gauges, you could substitute with green Rizla papers : 1 paper = 1 thou just put together as many as you need to. [more people smoked roll-ups in those days too].
