scenic towbar fitting

Hello all,

Just bought a used scenic privilege and attempted to fit a towbar. After removing the light clusters, bumper, impact bar and the number of bolts holding the boot floor, I decided that I was getting in over my head, especially since the floor would not come free. I reluctantly re-assembled everything I,d removed and had a well earned cuppa. I,ve since been informed that I had done most of the hard work and that I was well on my way for assembling steps. Can any one please advise as to why the floor would not come free easily. Is it just due to sealant and if so, what would be the next steps after this stage. From a first time forum user. Thanks in advance.
