Hi there, you see (from the dealer's perspective), they may well value your custom highly, but are probably a bit concerned about the famifications of setting a precedent whereby everyone with this problem turns up at their respective dealer saying - its a problem/manufacturing concern, look (so & so) got it replaced. Believe me, the garage is as much in the middle of this as you are. It is a Renault issue to address (morally, if not in law). I saw many similar cases all being swept aside when with Ford - also for mechanical issues (how does the total failure of an automatic transmission at 4 years & 25,000 miles sound?).

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
