Re: leak in renault trafic

Hi Sean and others,

Apologies for highjacking the thread, but I was wondering how you got on with sealing the leak you were talking about. Did you use Tiger Seal as suggested? Any luck?

We've been given a 1986 Renault Trafic AS hightop, and unfortunately we've had some issues with water coming in along the top of the side windows.
I suspect it is the join between the hightop and the top of the actual van. On the outside, most of the material (old sealant?) in the "guttering" around the edge of the high top has weathered away. Although I can't see any holes it seems an obvious place for water to get in..

I'd be keen to get cracking with the Tiger Seal option if appropriate - any ideas?

Many thanks and best wishes
