This car just gets better & better!
I've noticed that the 'miles to empty' figure is a waste of space too. As soon as the low fuel light comes on, the miles to empty reading goes to -----, even though there is obviously a fair amount of fuel left in the tank. I did about 30 miles after the light came on. I know all the calculations are inter-related but all must depend on various sensors. I wonder if it's the sensors that are crap or the computer programme that does the number crunching.

All in all then, the on-board computer is pretty much useless!

I've had a Saab in the past and the reading on that was spot on. I know because I thought I'd test it. I got it down to 1 mile to empty with the "stop to refuel' warning flashing and beeping, then it actually did... run out!

Wife's Volvo is pretty accurate too, although we've never gone below 11 miles to empty. Then filled up to within a litre of the stated tank capacity.

Anyone want to buy a Sport Tourer?
