We bought a Grand Scenic a few weeks ago. We use the Britax boosters and these seem to work fine. Not as safe as the full size child seats I know, but at least they work.
Finally - Renault UK are pushing this with Renault France and it is acknowledged as a reported problem across Europe especially Germany.
Renault France stand at the moment is the 'Kidplus' is the only seat that fits however you must move the rear seats forward for the inertia belts to work.
I am furious - they are 'looking at a fix' hopefully to be announced at the end of January which may be Renault launching a new seat or may be the kidplus but with a notice that seats must be moved forward - why should we accept a compromised vehicle!!!
PLEASE any Grande Scenic owners check the operation of stage 3 seats in your car, post back here and report it to customer services if you are not 100% happy that the inertia belt flows with a child in the seat.
