Haven't had a problem with the Laguna, but my wifes Peugeot 206 has a simialr problem.

I think it is due to the low angle of the sun at this time of year, whilst it appears bright the actual light is quite dim. We get a similar problem in the middle of summer, as the sun gets lower in the sky towards sunset the lights come on when the car enters the shade, but the angle of the sun is such that it doesn't appear bright enough to make the lights go out again.

As far as I now there is not a sensitivity adjustment, some sensors are more/less sensitive than others.

Currently in SportTourer's garage:
2010 Laguna III SportTourer Initiale Tom Tom.
