Yes it’s close to the air box on the pipe to the turbo .
I had a customer in complaining his 1.9Dci 120 was sluggish and lacking power so I plugged it into the computer and it showed up a MAF fault (air flow meter) I disconnected the meter so it would run on an emergency get you home setting and test drove it only to find the car improved greatly which confirmed to me the faulty MAF
