Hi, thanks for the advice mate. The batteries were changed when i first had the vehicle, I took the fobs to a auto electrician not that he was much help cos he just tested them and said "their giving off a strong signal so the fault is on the car" basically told me to sort it out myself. Where do i start looking was my 1st reaction, if it was a Vauxhall i could probably sort it myself but i ain't got a clue with these Renaults I've been told that sometimes these units collect condensation and play up but i've unplugged mine and put a blow dryer on it but its still ¤¤¤¤ed! How can i find out if theres a short in it?

thanx 4 any advice, & merry xmas
