Your dealer has got the software issue wrong..
It is the 2.2 that has an issue with the injection computer code potentially causing premature
failure along with the cast iron
pipe bend delaminating and allowing fragments of pipe onto the
valve face. .. There are 2 "OTS"'s that cover these issues on specific engine numbers/vehicle types..
The 1.9DCi problems are on the whole due to the extended
changes and incorrect
type.. ie 10w40 (semi synthetic) being used instead of 5w40 (fully sythetic).... Especially on the Laguna II..
