What to look for when buying a laguna?

Happy New Year to all

I'm thinking of buying a Renault Laguna and wondered if there were any specific dodgy bits I should look for.

It's a P reg 5 door (hatch) that has done 151000 miles. There's no apparent rust at all and it is very clean inside, though it has been off-road for three months.

I've had a drive in it and all seems well except a slight knocking from the front left suspension when I go over speed bumps (bushes or cv joint I guess).

It's not used any oil in 4000 miles (since my neighbour bought it), though the suspension has been lowered slightly and it has those thin expensive tyres (two need changing - even wear) - I'm hoping that I can replace them with standard size tyres.

Experience has taught me that each type of car has its own weak spots, so I was hoping that the good folks on this forum might suggest some areas I should peer at before parting with my lolly (200 has been suggested as a starter price).

I'll take it for an MOT on Tuesday probably, so any advice before then would be appreciated.
