Come here there's more ~ first try out folding back seats down (no really)...

Just as well I looked, first prob, rear cushion is completely loose! The ends of the two steel rods it pivots on had popped out of their hinges (or on purpose?), OK this useful to know as it means cushion can be entirely removed if desired.

Once back in, the front clips then work to hold it securely down. Then, as per handbook, pulling up the front edge releases the clips, then it can be hinged forward and edgewise down onto the floor. Then the seat backs can go down. Headrests must be removed though.
