I had exactly the same problem on my 1.6 Alize. Apparently, there is a microswitch in the door that needs replacing (it doesn't work on the same principle as the older cars with push switches).
You could try to reprogramme the key and see if that helps. I had to do mine a few times, but its been ok ever since (about 8 months now).
If I remember correctly, sit insde the car with all doors etc shut, switch the ignition on, press and hold the central locking button on the centre control until the light stays on permanently, then with the key still in the ignition press button on the key twice and the doors will unlock / lock. I think that was it, but I'll do a search later and find the correct method.
