Renault Kangoo - Engines - Losing coolant
I run a Kangoo 655 D for my business, I have had the vehicle from new, current mileage 76000, and as time served HGV/Light vehicle (not in trade now) I try do most of my own basic maintenance.
Currently I am having a couple of problems with the vehicle
and hope to find some help / advice on these forums.
The problem for this forum is, the cooling system has started to lose coolant slowly like half a pint roughly every 300 miles, I have finally managed to trace the source of the leak to a structure on the nearside of the engine blockwhich has four coolant hoses joining on to it and has a dome shape at one place, could this be the thermostat housing? it looks like it may be made of plastic, would like to know if anyone has experience of similar problem on kangoo or other renault like Clio etc.
Any comments/help greatly appreciated.
