Check the wiring to the relays.
I bought mine as a non-runner,and the wiring to the relays in the engine bay had corroded.Any signs of greening of terminals shows where the problem is.Also,if you grab hold of the individual wires and pull them you might find that some snap,showing that the wire has corroded away and just the insulation is left.
If all seems well,I'd have an
code read done.If the SERV lights coming on,then there must be a code registered with the system.
I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
