Cat D Clio - Airbags and Tracking

Hey guys, not sure if I'm posting this in the right place but there's a few problems piled into one post to narrow it down (Sorry, it is still quite long)

I've bought my misses a "Cat D" Clio (It wasn't actually written off, the Driver just didn't want his Insurance to find out and the car he swerved to avoid didn't stop) that I'm doing up and there's just a few more things that actually need doing.

The Airbags were deployed in the accident, the car never actually hit anything but it went up an embankment with force which set off the Ab's and broke the tracking on the O/S wheel.

The guy I bought it off said that the garage told him it would need a new seat belt pre-tensioner, the tracking sorted out, the ECU reset and the Airbag ECU reset.

Just pointing out, I can't get the car to a garage sadly as it is in a storage unit miles away from any.

1) I've tugged on each seat belt probably 500 times now and they all "yank" when pulled hard, so why would I need the pre-tensioner replaced if they all work fine? (I was thinking maybe the Airbag would immediately go off again once reset thinking it was involved in another crash. But then, I'm pretty sure the pre-tensioner is just the thing that "yanks" the belt to stop you going hurling forward)

2) Do I need to reset any of the sensors that actually detect accidents prior to resetting the Airbag ECU ?

3) The garage that told the original owner to "Write it off" said (After replacing the Wishbone and all the Airbags) the reason the tracking is off is that the Subframe is bent. To me the Subframe looks fine and the wheels look fine. The coil spring is defo knackered as it's all mangled and I actually believe it's suffering from positive camber rather than a bent Sub (wheel is tilted out at the top and the car pulls to the right) ... The garage told the original owner that if he gives them a few parts off his car that they need to fix another one, they will let him have the work that was already done free of all labor costs, so personally, I think this whole "Bent Subframe" was a con just to score some cheap parts so can I or he actually take action against the garage?
