It's one reason that I wouldn't consider buying a Grand Scenic. The current trend of doing away with spares should prompt anyone thinking of buying any new car to check what, if any, type of spare it is supplied with. What is stupid in the case of the Grand Scenic, is that there is room to mount one underneath the rear of the car, but Renault UK wish to charge you £100 for the priveledge.
I noticed that. I would be interested to hear details from anyone who has managed to mount a spare wheel themselves without shelling out to the maindealer.
