Thanks for that chaps- I found it whilst tracing a sat nav fault and i actually wondered if is was something to do with the alarm as the control unit for that is in the same place on the opposite side..
And as Horatio says about the Mazda, it would take you 10 mins to get the boot lining out (albeit partially) then you'd have to pull out the foam/rubber cover to magically reveal the damn thing !
I guess the easily accessable design that says fuel cap override on it would be an upgrade at the dealers, costing and extra £100 to you sir !
Whilst i'm playing the guessing game, does anyone know what this square plate thing is as found in the headling ??
