Five miles down the motorway it corrects itself ,
Hasn't happened on the way to work just on the way home, Strange coincidence or what .
What is the cause for this problem and is there a cure.
I have read here that the sensors are located outside the car under the wheel arches; because of that, they take quite a bashing if you drive hard through big puddles or flooded roads. Obviously, they may return to normal after a while but if you look at the tyres and they are ok, then just ignore them for a while. They may call them a safety feature but are they really? If you check tyres with an old-fashioned pen-type guage, you know they are ok.

As someone said above, if it tells you your wheels are missing but the car is going well, there is a fair chance it is telling you fibs
