But they are prepared to offer me a substantial amount off a new car to restore my faith in Renault if i ever wish to come back to them.
The kind lady is going to give me a call back later on this afternoon to see if there is anything else she can do for me....

What do you guys think? Anyhting is should be saying when she calls back?
(Also, they are fully aware of your forum! Result!)
Hi Chris, I have just read this. I have to go out right now but should be back in about an hour. Is it possible for you to PM me as much info as possible as to what has been said, by whom and to whom? I'll get back to you asap. Don't give up yet. Another email will be quite in order and if you talk to anyone, say you would like any conversation confirmed in an email to you. Don't worry if they are not prepared to do that but make sure you ask anyway. They are on shaky ground anyway and they know it. If we take them to a small claims court it will cost them more to hire a lawyer than to let's say, offer you a 75% refund on your invoiced costs. An offer like that would be a help to your good self and a good P R exercise for them. Talk to me later cos I must rush.
