I think you may be stuck with a visit to renault and their diagnostic units.
There is no adjustment as such, the internals simply winding cable in or out until the electronic parameters are met.
Not all can clips can fully read or adjust these beasts, my local independant's can clip won't allow any adjustment on mine as it can't read the VIN number (unit was replaced by renault in 2010 so it should be a properly coded unit)
He did clear the codes with another diagnostic unit.
A second indi with a can clip could happlily read all unit parameters but not clear fault codes (I'd pulled the boot release and although reset had latched the cables back together it had left the code and dash warning (little triangle with a P and the service light))
