As the fluid reservoir is shared between the clutch & brakes its the prime suspect.

Did you bleed the clutch after the fault started and is the fluid currently at the max mark?

Has there been any recent work done on the car that may have disturbed a vacuum pipe?

From your description it sounds like you are losing servo assistance when you press the clutch....could something be disturbing a vacuum line when the clutch is being pressed?
