Rather than you messing around with this, I would suggest that since either you (or your insurance company) has paid fo the work to be done correctly, that you take this matter up within the garage (if you paid for it), or your insurance company (if they did). If the panels don't line up, peope will think its had a big shunt (and been poorly repaired), and the resale value will be affected.
Just a thought.
