The older style Diesels were fine to do this on,but the newer
diesels run at such a ridiculously high pressure that you can't do it any more.
I'll try and find out the exact pressure,hang on a mo......
Yes i can imagine the lorry i used to drive was a scania 142 double drive STG CAT 3 we used to move plant up to 150 tonne no MOT or PSV because the lorry was classed as a locomotive not allowed to do more than 25MPH and you should be aware of the pressure that is in the hydraulic self steering and suspension rams when you have 150 tonne on top off them
and i can tell you its very scary when the seals or a pipe blows beside you.
