Renault Scenic - Rear Child Locks Linked To Window Isolator

Can anyone tell me how to turn off the child door lock on the rear doors in a 2004 Scenic II ??

Hi iam not sure if its the same as mine but there should be a small steel switch on the door itself beside the lock that moves from side to side lock and unlock i hope this helps

Alternatively, they may be linked into the rear window disabling switch on the driver's window control panel. That's how it's done on the Laguna. If the car has this system, then when the rear window switches are disabled, then the rear interior door handles are too.

Yes - as both ottoman & horatio say.

However, there are also the "Normal" leavers as mentioned by donald - so you can permanantly enable/disable the locks, independant of the rear window control locks. This may be key operated ( using the "emergency key" from the card ) rather than just pushing a switch, you may have to turn the meachanism with the key.
