Tell ya what me and Rob will split the cost of a diagnostic at the dealers lets say 40 each!

Seriously thats the whole reason for forums like this, to help one another out, the only reason i knew about this was that when i was playing taxi for my mrs and her friends a few times i had to keep jumping out the car as they were locked in!

Glad its sorted anyway!

I noticed my left rear door problem is sometimes because the lock seems to not central lock/unlock.I don't have kids yet so the doors are not often used. Lubrication seems to help

In normal circumstances, you would, I`m sure be quite correct....I`m wondering if it`s an electrical fault since both doors fail to open from the inside... ( ie they both "failed" at the same time). Many thanks for your comments Rob.
this has happened with my rear offside door. Took it to my local Renault Autopoint & they advised its the inside of the door lock snapping off which would cost about 100 to repair!!!
