Our Scenic II has handsfree. Recently the drivers door and read right door stopped working with the card. The rear door and passenger/left side doors work fine.

Seems like there's some electrical problem common to both doors. Not yet checked the Haynes manual, but does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

I have only ever opened the car via the drivers door and tbh since I have had it it unlocks when you pull the handle (did'nt give this a second thought) does this system operate by a prox sensor or by the door handle?

Has this happenned to anyone else? later on it did open (by pulling handle) but again now it wont looks like a faulty sensor to me

Just would liek to make sure its nothing silly before I travel miles to get it sorted at Renault

hi there mine was doing this on drivers door left it for a while then the others went took it to renault they replaced all the sensor switches on each door now it all works fine..
