I have just purchased my first Renault but without a manual and so i am confused on how the trip computer works. I can cycle through the display using the button on the end of the wiper stalk and i can work out most icons...distance from last fill up, distance to next fill up, average mph since last fill up etc BUT i can;t seem to be able to reset the values to zero (not the total mileage).
I have flipped through a manual for the new scenic but the stalk is different ...
Please help! It's lietrally driving me up the wall :d
Thanks guys. The holding the button until reset doesn't work but i never noticed the black button sticking out of the speedo and that did teh job, so just like the laguna.

No! man! It affected nothing but the trip mileage. The story behind it was that I got a flat battery listening to the CD as I worked. (I had to take the battery out to recharge it just as well it took over a litre of water) When I put it back and fired up etc I noticed the trip had zeroed. The mileometer was unaffected. Oh! The [time] clock read 00.00 but there are two tiny buttons on the speedometer to xix that
yeah thats works Shaun Wall.... But in Grand Scenic 2004 onwards it will also lock your cd player and then you need the code for your CD Player. You may notice your power windows acting a bit weired but that would be fine in a while
