If you send me £25 (assuming you are in UK) I will get you the right resistor and heatsink parts (for a Scenic 2) and post them, as I can get them at a discount. Not sure how to give you my email address or phone number without posting it here permanently which I donít want to do. You just have to solder it together and add the wiring.

Hi there

The resistor pack on our scenic is failing, any chance you can let me know the details of the resistors you used. I'll give this a go.

Thanks.

Resistor pack (Rheostat)

Just had my resistor pack (rheostat) changed by my local garage rather than dealer, he was pulling his hair out doing it, but eventually managed to get to the part by removing the top dash section and replacing it. Charged 4 hours labour £160 plus the part at £50. My main dealer wanted £500 inc VAT for doing the same job. Made sure it got a new pollen filter too.
