Re: Roof bars - Missing Keys Fix

I had the same problem, and locksmiths asking for a lot of money to open and replace cylinders. I decided to drill out the locks but broke the drill. I then discovered that the locks will open by inserting a simple flatheaded screwdriver into the lock and turning clockwise 1/4 of a turn. I didn't need to apply much force which left me wondering why they bothered to put in locks in the first place, as they are so easy to open. The bars are screwed into place by bolts so breaking the locks does not compromise safety.
