I have a grand scenic 1.5dci 2006. and the heater now only works in position 3.

Will the resistor be in the same place on my car, as I have just purchased this item off ebay

How do you wire the new loom into the cars wiring system also does it involve cutting any wires etc.

Hi T&K,

I've just picked up a resistor pack and wiring loom and, yes, you will need to cut wires - you have to cut the old connector off and splice the new one on. I have the same question as T&K, also:

Does anyone have any instructions on how to splice the new loom in - all the wires are the same colour and do not appear to be labelled?

The pictures in this thread are priceless - many thanks - but this additional info would also help greatly.

How much is it for the parts

I was in at the stealer today and he qouted 330 supply and fit and he managed to say it with a straight face, supposing i was getting it done for free i would'nt let those monkeys at E Halshaw take my dash off could you imagine the problems afterwords, after their half arsed job at putting the dash back on

Just had a Price from Renault 60 for the resistor and about 35 for the new loom. I thinks its another Renault only part. Yet another common fault on the Scenic II that isnt cheap to fix just like the window regulators.
