The Fix is to replace The buckle retaining clip and loctite the bolt to the seat..
The reason it is being done is because the Bolts were NOT loctited in the factory & so become loose. You could imagine the scenario if the buckle came away from the seat.
You do NOT have to wait for the letter from Renault.. I would recommend that anyone with a Scenic II calls their dealer to get it booked in for URGENT remedial work to be completed.
This affects All Scenic II's built from Feb 2003 to Dec 2005
