Just in case any confusion is caused,Webcode posted the instructions on how to reset the light, and although the 'comment on this post' says 'nice one laggy',the reputation points are for Webcode, not me!.

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....

Following on from the above, I have a Scenic 1, (built 1997/8) on my dash the service light is on and also the air bag light is on....very disconcerting.....any thoughts please?

Please note this is an amendment to my earlies posting where I said the seat belt warning light was on

I hope all this makes sense !!! Rogerb

I'm just about to link this thread into the Laguna FAQ, so I just wanted to add this little bit.

Webcode's instrutions will work fine for the later Laguna II dash that doesn't have the trip reset button. For earlier Laguna II's and the Laguna I (with trip computer) the procedure will still work, but you have to press and hold the mileage reset button sticking out of the instrument cluster until the service interval resets and stops flashing.

Angry Cannot turn off flashing spanner on renault megane

Hi, I have a 2005 Renault Megane Monaco 1.4 16v and i have tried to turn off the flashing spanner symbol without success. The Right hand stalk button will toggle to a "change Oil soon message and if you press this it it will change to a two level display with a mileage figure on the top level and a zero mileage number on the bottom of the display No matter how long i hold this button in the flashing spanner will not go away !I would really appreciate any help on this one.
