I did this job yesterday, it's not a tough one & there are a few threads here on how to do it. I wanted to add my findings though:

I had a blown bulb in the top area of the speedo display, changed that for one of the other bulbs along the top of the display that my car didn't use (there are several: front screen demist, D3 ((states as 'not used' in the Renault handbook)), front fogs ((don't have any)) & some 'Diesel only' light). When I tested it the oil /milage one had subsequently blown
I substituted another of the unused ones & tested it again & it was OK. the only issue I have now is that the top part of the rev counter has become dull & I think this is where I have removed bulbs above it & light is escaping from the now empty bulb holes in the back of the panel?

I took the bulb to a local motorshop & he pulled out the bulb from the holder & sold replacements for 99p
