There are also articles on the Laguna with Xenons.
There are no adjustments on the Laguna, only the Espace, don't know whether the latest Scenics are different, but Espace was the only Renault with easy adjustment.

Nobody really seems to have a definative answer as to whether you need to alter the XEnon beam or not, but if you don't why do a lot of manufacturers include the adjustment? That to me suggests the beam pattern is different for lhd & rhd.

Xenon lights run hotter than normal lights so sticking beam deflectors/bender straight on to headlights can possibly cause dmage by overheating.

A lot wont bother, because they never see a policeman abroad, only going for a day or two etc etc.

However, if you do get caught the fine can far outweigh any saving made by not fitting beam deflectors.

You can buy headlight protectors and stick the beam benders on to them, then just click the protectors on and off in a matter of seconds, no fiddly about and no sticky gunge to remove from headlight which may be damaged getting it off.
They cost about £30-£40 so if you go abroad more than a couple of times they "pay for themselves",as normal "deflectors" from Halfords etc will cost £6 approx each time.
