Re: anyone from sheffield or south yorkshire spotted a montego

I drove a friends 1.3 Maestro 90+ miles which was quite a decent drive, and my works Manager had an MG Maestro in red which looked really good, and I think the Montego estates had a lot of carrying capacity inside, but apart from that I can't think of any other positive points to say about Montego's.
I was once foolish enough to buy a Rover 213 Van den Plas automatic thinking it'd be a comfy drive...was the biggest heap of poo I ever bought and that turned me off anything to do with Austin Rover Group ever since (apart from Mk1 Metros..great economical workhorses ).
Currently in Renoir White's garage:
Renault Trafic 1.7 Petrol Vauxhall Astra 1.4i & in bits Triumph Bonneville T140E & H-D XLH1200
