I picked my car up from Manchester and it took me about 3 1/4 hours on the motorways to get down (or should that be up) to London and it showed 30 MPG. It was so comfortable I did the whole run without a break and did not feel tired in the least.

On some other motorway work I was showing the same sort of figure as you.

This is the sort of car I have been looking for for years. Power, comfort AND economy.

The only down side is the cost of cam belt change I had done because there was no record of it being changed. Also I need the transmission fluid checking / changing and this seems to be a specialist only job.

Otherwise I am delighted with it.
I don't know why but during the Berko/Heathrow airport run it was showing 38+ mpg. This gradually crept down as I drove along the M4 towards J12 for Reading. I expect it to give me less in town but this is only a small town and nothing like London or Manchester so I should get about 28 overall. But I was delighted to see 38 MPG on that run and couldn't believe it... so I brimmed it again just to check and it was right. Ah well! Little things like this please my little mind and I am not complaining not even one tiny bit.
