If the union is free to turn on the brake pipe and you can push it back down the pipe a bit, put a wipe of grease around the last inch of the brake pipe just behind the flared end.
When the union is back in position the grease will be between it and the pipe, this will stop any corrosion and it should remain free on the pipe for years to come.

> click on "Edit Your Details" at the top Left hand side.
> scroll down to the "What's current in your garage?" box and enter your vehicle details.
> Once the details are entered scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes"

> Done.
