UK NTTA - National Trailer and Towing Association
The organisation was set up in response to the amount of dodgy towbar fitting (especially wiring) that goes on, even by places that you'd expect to be competent (e.g. dealers.)
If you go with an NTTA acredited fitter, then you know they've had proper training and are actually clued up on how the job needs to be done. Personally, I wouldn't have a towbar fitted by anyone who wasn't with the organisation unless I'd had a personal recommendation from someone I trusted.
Price depends on what brand and type of bar you want and whether or not you need twin electrics (the second socket for fridge and battery charging for a caravan.)
