Err, no, shop around.
Yes to the diagnostic, doesn't have to be Renault.
Your local garage may be able to sort it at a fraction of Renault's cost. Or someone else local.
They may not be able to deal with it and be upfront or quite happy to take your money with no result.
Only way of knowing is talk to them.
Your local Renault dealer may have the most helpful service department in the world or they could be like mine who wanted 90 odd quid for a diagnostic and said beforehand that it would almost certainly need a new EPB unit
There are threads here that say Renault want to replace everything, unit calipers pads the lot and others who've said Renault plugged in the clip and reset it, all sorted for 40 quid.
You need to sort out what's best for you in your area.
