Isn't the proper way to leather off the wet car once it's inside the garage ..... I know, who can be arsed to do that
There again it may be a condition of your insurance policy that it must be garaged overnight, otherwise if someone nicks it ...tough titty (the underwriters won't be sympathetic if your car was too wet to lock up overrnight.
And lastly, many of us (including me) don't have a garage, or can rent one within 6 miles , most garage blocks having been torn down because of constant break-ins, kids falling through roofs, dumped motors in the empty ones etc
