Good ventilation is the secret of storing a car in a garage. In my experience very few garages have adequate decent air flow. I deally you need low level vents for incoming air and high level vents for outgoing. Obviously the vents need to be pest proof. In my garage there are brick vents - two low and two high and as yet not even my tools have shown signs of rust. The added bonus of adequate ventilation is that unwanted gases can also escape if necessary. Better still the garage can be used for clothes drying on wet days.
