Re: got a laguna sports tourer for £180 not cheap !!
You sound like just the sort of bloke...well you're bring memories back to me....
The best motoring I ever done was "Scrapper" motoring as we called it....buy a car and run it for as long as you could....next MOT or Tax...if you were lucky it might go through another MOT (depending on who you knew)....a 12 month ticket was like the Holy grail....
We travelled hundreds of miles in cars with no worries, "Breakdown cover" that was only for rich people.....if it chucked it we left it and somehow managed to get home.
As for the mods to your car....well factory sat nav is going to be a laugh...you have to tell the car you have changed your underpants these days so I doubt you will be able to get that to work without major involvement from some sort of programming device so I would give that a miss.
As for the seats, I guess they should work, as long as the plugs for the airbags under them are the same, they might plug in and work.....but don't count on it.
Way to go mate....enjoy it and have a laugh
