I bougt the official Renault car kit for my last Lag, only to discover that the microphone didn't work (I never found out why) the speaker didn't work (already in use by the voice synth) and I couldn't find the antenna connection anywhere. I assumed it had been replaced by the GPS antenna, though I've since read that the GPS fin is dual purpose, supporting GSM as well. But by that time, I'd given up and put my CARK-91 back in.

When installing a Nokia kit, I'd recommend hooking all positive feeds to permanent live. Contrary to popular opinion, this doesn't cause battery drain problems as long as you take the phone with you when you leave the car. Best of all, it disables the annoying function that switches your phone off a couple of minutes after turning off the engine.
