I agree with Laguna II Owner. My girlfriend finds them very useful on her Laguna.
Besides, the majority of problems with them seem to be down the valve caps corroding and tyre fitters who aren't familiar with them or couldn't be arsed to be careful with them.
I know they are expensive to replace and reprogram but if you know a non Renault garage with for example a Sykes-Picavant diagnostic computer, they would probably reprogram them for a lot less than £45
