When installing a Nokia kit, I'd recommend hooking all positive feeds to permanent live. Contrary to popular opinion, this doesn't cause battery drain problems as long as you take the phone with you when you leave the car. Best of all, it disables the annoying function that switches your phone off a couple of minutes after turning off the engine.
Not sure about other Nokia kits but the CK-7W (bluetooth) needs to have the IGNS sense wire connected to an ignition live, otherwise you will find that your phone will still be connected via bluetooth if you leave the car and it is still in range. Obviously if you are using a cradle and not bluetooth then this won't be an issue.
