Yeh thanks checked those out earlier, just found out now that the fob used to deactivate the immobiliser may not be the original as the barrel has been changed?????? Gotta wait now until the fob can be read to see if it pairs up against the chassis number if it doesnt dont no what is going to happen then.
Just got a hold of the garage I purchased the car from and he was adamant that he could fix it (knows nothing about renaults tho) so I have just taken the car back and left it at his showroom keys to be dropped off tomorrow so I wait with bated breath to see what explanation he comes up with when he cant get the car started to move it (takes about 10-15 min of constant turning the ignition off and on to get the immobiliser to switch off at some point).
