Does anyone have any idea what the electronic tool does please? Is it actually involved in physically moving the pistons or is it something to do with sensors?
From the write up, looks like it takes the auto adjust, handbrake part out of the caliper for pad change, resets afterwards and as they say it checks for fault codes presumably has some diagnostic and reset ability.
If it's truly universal and takes Main Dealer's monopoly out of the equation, I'm for it.
Hopefully it wont take traditional DIY jobs like pad changes out of our hands but that does mean that the tool has to be reasonably priced, even if only via hire shops or similar.
