Scenic 1.9 DCi Injection Fault - but only when going round corners!

Hi, We have a 55plate scenic 1.9 dci - Every now and again, usually whilst going round a bend at about 30mph we will get the "Injection Fault" and "Stop" message on the dashboard. This then clears when turning off the engine for 10 secs and then restarting.

The EGR valve on the car was allegedly changed shortly after we bought the car three years ago - is it likely to be the cuplrit? Or could it be something really expensive?

how many miles has the car covered since the alleged egr change? it may possibly have only been cleaned the first time if you havent done too many miles since.
alternative possible reason for the symptom you describe is is water in the diesel filter, which can be checked easily to eliminate this as a cause.
when going round corners it may be triggering a sensor by moving around inside the filter - just a thought.

if you locate your filter housing, there should be a thumb screw on the bottom of it which when undone will drain the filter. try doing this, then tighten the screw again and then pump the priming bulb if you have one (~will be inline with the fuel feed pipe), a few times to refill the filter housing. restart the car (may take a few turns). if this was the problem the light should not come back on!
if this doesnt work try back here for further possible solutions!
