Hi all, I am having a bit of trouble with the fuel line draining when the car has been stopped and stood for a while and then the car struggles to start. It seems that the non return valve in the rubber fuel priming bulb may be knackered and letting fuel drain back, rather than holding it there.
The garage have said that they are approx £56 but it could be 3 hours work to fit it due to the akwardness of the fuel line back to the tank.
Question : Can the primer bulb be replaced just by pulling the fuel pipes off the end of the fittings or do you need to mess with the pipes all the way back to the tank? How long would this take (slightly akward to access the bottom connection of the bulb inside the engine compartment)
